Researchnig and teaching gender is my passion.

I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Gender and Science at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, as well as serving as an assistant professor at the University of Hradec Králové.

My scholarly engagement with the intersection of gender and technology was ignited shortly after completing my PhD, driven by a desire to delve into new research territoris. As a Fulbrigth scholar, I began discovering smart homes in San Francisco. My current research project SMART UP investigates the gendered division of labor within smart home environments, extending this inquiry to a global context.

My academic curiosity is particularly piqued by the critical analysis of emerging technologies, especially when examined through the lenses of power inequalities, inclusivity, care, and surveillance.
