Sociologist and feminist based in Prague.

Researchnig and teaching gender is my passion.
I work as a researcher at the Centre for Gender and Science at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, as well as serving as an assistant professor at the University of Hradec Králové.

My scholarly engagement with the intersection of gender and technology was ignited shortly after completing my PhD, driven by a desire to delve into new research territoris. As a Fulbrigth scholar, I began discovering smart homes in San Francisco, and this journey led to a research project SMART UP that investigated the gendered division of labor within smart home environments. Besides smart technologies, I am exploring quantum computers or educational technologies.

My academic curiosity is particularly piqued by the critical analysis of emerging technologies, especially when examined through the lenses of power inequalities, inclusivity, care, and surveillance.
